Cornerstone,

Gird Up and Trust God

As we enter this new season, God is leading us to a new vineyard. This shifting is not simply about changing locations; it is about following the direction of God and trusting Him with every step of the journey. When God says, “Gird up”, “Arise, go,” our responsibility is to obey, even when we cannot see the entire path ahead.

There may be moments of uncertainty, challenges, and questions along the way, but God has already gone before us. We must gird ourselves with faith, strengthen our hearts in prayer, and refuse to allow fear to dictate our response. The same God who has sustained us in previous seasons will sustain us in this one.

Let us not focus on what we are leaving behind, but on what God is preparing us to walk into. We will gird up, stand firm, pray continually, and trust God throughout the process. We believe that if He is leading us, He will make the way, provide what is needed, and accomplish His purpose for Cornerstone Full Gospel Church.

«“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” — Deuteronomy 31:6»

Prayer Points: Gird Up and Trust God

  1. Father, strengthen our hearts to trust You completely as You lead us into this new season.
  2. Lord, give us spiritual discernment to recognize Your direction and follow Your voice without hesitation.
  3. Father, remove fear, doubt, and anxiety concerning the transition and replace them with faith and confidence in You.
  4. Lord, help us not to look backward at what we are leaving, but forward to what You have prepared.
  5. Father, go before us and prepare the way for every detail concerning our new worship site.
  6. Lord, provide every financial resource needed for the transition and cause every necessary door to open.
  7. Father, give us unity as a church family. Keep our hearts together and help us to walk in one accord.
  8. Lord, protect us from confusion and discouragement. Let Your peace rule in our hearts throughout the process.
  9. Father, give our leadership wisdom to make decisions that are aligned with Your will and purpose.
  10. Lord, close every door that is not from You and open every door that You have ordained for us.
  11. Father, strengthen our faith when we cannot see the outcome. Teach us to trust Your process as much as we trust Your promise.
  12. Lord, establish our new worship site as a place where Your presence is welcomed, Your Word is preached, and lives are transformed.
  13. Father, let the new location become a place of harvest, where souls are saved, families are restored, disciples are developed, and Your Kingdom advances.
  14. Lord, give us courage to obey even when obedience requires us to step outside of our comfort zone.
  15. Father, let no weapon formed against this transition prosper. Cover every person, decision, transaction, and detail.
  16. Lord, help us to wait on Your timing. Keep us from moving ahead of You or falling behind You.
  17. Father, remind us that You are our Provider. We will not allow financial concerns to become greater than our confidence in You.
  18. Lord, increase our expectation. Give us eyes to see what You are doing even before the manifestation appears.
  19. Father, let this transition be ordained by You and glorifying to You. May our testimony be that You made the way.
  20. Lord, we declare that we will gird up, stand firm, and trust You. We believe that the God who began this work will faithfully bring it to completion.

Declaration of Faith

We will not fear. We will not retreat. We will not become discouraged. We will gird up our hearts, strengthen our hands, and trust the God who is leading us. The Lord has gone before us, and He will make a way. We believe our best days of ministry are still ahead, and we will follow wherever He leads. In Jesus' name, Amen.
