Family,

We are entering the season in which many denominations call Advent. Advent meaning “Coming” in Latin. This is the coming of Jesus into the world. Advent is also referring to the period of the 4 Sundays and weeks leading before Christmas.

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, let us take time to remember His humility in how He came into the world. Jesus was born in a stable, a place where animals were kept.

Jesus was the King of Kings but He was neither born nor did He live like a king in this life.

At His birth, Jesus was called “a savior”. As Savior, He has come to deliver us from sin and Satan’s domain, the ungodly world, fear, death, and the condemnation of our transgressions.

Jesus the Savior, is also Christ the Lord. He has been anointed as the Messiah and the Lord who rules over His people.

In His Service,

Pastor Rose
