Praise the Lord Cornerstone Family!

A Word from our Lord for year 2022.

Listen to the full sermon (Dec 26,2021) according to Isaiah 43: 1-19.

The Lord says the year 2022 will continue to be a year of uncertainty and unrest. But for us to be encouraged in knowing that He is everywhere, all knowing and all powerful.  Because He created, formed and redeemed us, He knows everything about us.  He knows each of us by name as well as our voices. The Lord said that He loves us and we are precious in His sight.

In year 2022, as we press through difficult times, the Lord says, whatever we do, we are not to do things within our own strength.  If we do things within our own strength, the rivers and waters of life circumstances may overtake us and the extreme flames of life may burn us.  However, if we make the Lord our refuge, if we make the Most High our shelter, no evil will conquer us; no plague will come near our home. For, God will order His angels to protect us wherever we go (Psalm 91-9-11 personalized).

Over the past years, many of God’s children have experienced spiritual decay and are not in a right relationship with Him.  The Lord says, just as He gathered the children of Israel back to Him, He will gather His children who have fallen by the wayside.  The Lord says He will gather His children from the east and gather them from the west. He will say to the north give them up and to the south, do not hold them back.  The Lord says, He will bring His sons from afar and His daughters from the ends of the earth. Therefore, for us to stay in prayer for our children and family members who have received Jesus as their Savior and are in a state of spiritual decay.  For the Lord says, He will call them back to Him.

As we seek to do the will of God in 2022, the Lord has given us a charge to be His witnesses. We must let everyone know that besides God, there is no Savior and that God is the one who declares, saves and proclaims.

The Lord says for us to forget the former things. Do not dwell on our past accomplishments or our past mistakes and failures. For, He is doing a new thing, now, it is springing up. Do we not perceive it?

Family, be encouraged and “let us continue to be steadfast, immovable always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”  (1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV)

Happy New Year!
