Family,

In pondering upon everything that has transpired in the year of 2020, I’ve come to a resolve that my hope will remain in Christ Jesus. The song written by Hillsong entitled “Cornerstone” resonates within my spirit. Some of the lyrics being: My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly trust on Jesus name. When He shall come with trumpet sound; oh may I then in Him be found. Dressed in His righteousness alone, faultless stand before the throne. Christ alone, Cornerstone weak made strong In the Savior’s love. Through the storm He is Lord, Lord of all.

As we move forward in the year 2021, let us maintain our hope in the Lord, the creator of heaven and earth. Let us have comfort in knowing that no matter what the year may hold, we do not have to be afraid nor discouraged. For, the Lord our God will strengthen, help and uphold us with His righteous right hand.

As we maintain our hope in the Lord, let us be mindful to trust the Lord with all our heart and lean not to our own understanding. In all our ways, let us acknowledge God. In doing so, He shall direct our paths.

Remember, like the song writer wrote, our goal is to be dressed in God’s righteousness alone, faultless stand before His throne. We have hope in knowing Christ alone, Cornerstone weak made strong in the Savior’s love. Through the storm He is Lord, Lord of all.
