Stand Firm in the Faith

Family,

As we continue to press forward during this time in which many may be struggling to establish a new normal, the Lord desires to remind us of His Word in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NKJV.

  • We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair.
  • Persecuted, but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed.

Just as Paul was sharing with the Church of Corinth, the Lord desires to remind us that although we may think we are at the end of our rope, we are never at the end of hope.

Yes. We live in a fallen world in which our bodies are subject to sin and suffering daily.  The Good News is through it all; God has never and never shall abandon us.  No matter the trial, humiliation or risks we endure, God will enable us to stand firm in our faith.

As we stand firm in our faith, we can have hope and assurance in knowing: Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. (James 1:12 NKJV)

In His Service,

Pastor Rose
