Family,

As we enter into this tenth month in the year of our Lord 2020, I’m sure everyone would say this is a year to remember.  At the beginning of the year, I’ve heard some say this would be a year of 20/20 vision in which we would see clearly and with clarity the purpose and plan that God has for His children.

Then the third month of the year came in which many basketball fans yearn to watch March Madness.  For those who may not know, March Madness is the annual NCAA college basketball tournament.  However, March Madness wasn’t the type of madness that was anticipated. March madness was the beginning of a devastating pandemic known as COVID-19 in which we are still enduring.  Madness, even to this day, calls for us to maintain social distancing and to wear facial coverings. Because of this Madness, many small businesses closed their doors and many individuals are now unemployed. Even more devastating over 204,000 individuals within our country lost their lives to this virus.

As we continue to endure this time of great trial, The Lord says in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT.

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! 18. So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now, rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Therefore, family, be encouraged. This troubling time will pass. Stay focused. Keep your eyes on Jesus and be encouraged in knowing God is with you. God will not fail you nor abandon you.

In His Service,

Pastor Rose
