Keep on pressing!

philippians 3 14

As a church family, as well as our individual families, we have and are experiencing many

challenges. But yet, God has and is bringing us out of them. The Lord desires to encourage us to stay focused and to keep pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. In doing so, we must forget those things which are behind us and reach forward to those things which are ahead us. Yes, there are times when we are weak. Thus, when we are weak, with fervency, let us cry out to God for His help. When we do so, He will strengthen us. As we trust Him with our whole heart and lean not to our own understanding and in all our ways acknowledge Him, He shall direct our paths. Always, let us remember, as we press forward, it’s never about how we may feel; for there are many days that we don’t feel like pressing forward. It’s in those times especially, we must encourage ourselves with the Word of God. We must give God praise in knowing that weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. Therefore, as we press forward, let us be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is not in vain in the Lord.
