We’ve Come to celebrate for the Lord is great, we come to celebrate the King!!!
Family,
Scripture says in Romans 10:12-13 NKJV “there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For, whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” But how can they be saved if they never heard of the Lord? How will they hear of Him if no one tells them? Like Jesus, we can answer the call to extend an invitation.
In the scriptures, there are three accounts of Jesus extending invitations.
The first invitation is an invitation to rest.
Matthew 11:28 NKJV: Jesus said, come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.
The second invitation is to discipleship.
Mark 1:17 NKJV: Jesus said to them, “Follow Me and I will make you become fishers of men.”
The third invitation is to live in His presence.
John 15:4 NKJV Jesus said, “Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me.”
As we gather collectively as a body of Christ on Resurrection Sunday, April 17, 2022 to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the King of kings, let us each invite someone to worship with us so they too may hear and believe the Good News of Jesus Christ.
In doing so and as we share the Good News of Jesus Christ, it will bring us peace and joy into our own lives, enlarge our own hearts and souls on behalf of others, increase our own faith, strengthen our own relationship with the Lord, and increase our own understanding of gospel truths.
In His Service,
Pastor Rose
